Airline biofuels may not be viable, critics say

Several airlines have performed test flights of aircraft with biofuel blends, but some critics say biofuel may not be an economically viable alternative. John Cooper, director of transport policy at BP, said there may not be enough feedstock to supply demand. Biofuel for jets costs about twice what kerosene fuel for jets cost.
