FAA moves forward with certification program

According to Pete Bunce, president of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, the Federal Aviation Administration is on board with the idea to make it easier for manufacturers to certify airplanes, as appropriate to their complexity. "When the FAA coins the term 'Twice the safety, half the cost,' I get excited," said Bunce.
