Al Jazeera America gets picked up by Time Warner Cable

Al Jazeera America has reached a carriage deal with Time Warner Cable, giving the news network a larger presence in the nation's two biggest markets, New York and Los Angeles. The agreement, when fully implemented by the end of Q1, will increase Al Jazeera America's footprint from 44 million pay-TV homes to 54 million out of a total of about 100 million.
