Ala. airport gets $6.3 million grant for improvement project

The Guntersville Municipal Airport in Alabama has received $6.3 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration. The money will be used toward the airport's ongoing improvement project, which includes extending the runway, building new hangars and updating the airport master plan.
