Asian Pacific tea market may lead way for U.S. makers

With U.S. consumers' rising demand for unsweetened and lower-calorie RTD teas, beverage makers can look to the Asian Pacific market for guidance as unsweetened versions of Asian tea brands grow in popularity in Japan and other Asian countries, according to a Euromonitor International report. In the U.S., Coca-Cola's unsweetened Honest Tea and PepsiCo's Lipton's Pure Leaf are gaining market share.
