Colo. oil, gas advocacy group seeks multiyear campaign on fracking

Industry group Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development seeks to launch a multiyear public awareness campaign about issues surrounding oil and natural gas development, including the benefits and risks associated with hydraulic fracturing, spokespersons for Anadarko Petroleum and Noble Energy said. "There are, and there should be, concerns about clean air and water, environment and health here in Colorado and CRED is a way to address those concerns and speak up on those concerns," said Robin Olsen, a spokeswoman for Anadarko, which is backing the group.
