Corporate culture is the key to innovation

A company's ability to innovate depends on its culture, writes Spansion CEO John Kispert. Firms need to balance a culture of accountability, in which workers accept responsibility for delivering on commitments, with a culture of risk-taking and tolerance for failure. "When it comes down to it, it's how you respond to the losses and move on that will define your success," Kispert writes.
