Report: Debt piling up faster than savings for most working Americans

Most Americans with employer-sponsored retirement savings plans are taking on debt more quickly than they are saving money for retirement, according to a new report. Three out of five workers participating in defined contribution accounts have mortgage, credit card and installment loan balances growing at a rate faster than their retirement savings and the imbalance is increasing.
