Veterinarians treat otter with serious shotgun injuries

An otter found in British Columbia with several gunshot wounds is being treated by veterinarians Martin Haulena and Lesanna L. Lahner and a team at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Center. The otter suffered a fracture to one hind flipper and a laceration to the other, loss of one eye and damage to the other as well as some cognitive issues.
