Survey: Widespread use of broadband ups consumer expectations

The results of a Forrester Research study point to rising consumer demand for dynamic, sophisticated and efficient online-shopping experiences. Some prominent e-retailers have responded with live customer service chat applications, social-networking functions and in-store merchandise pick-up services. Expectations of e-retailers are changing as now more than 50% of consumers have broadband Internet access.
