Georgia may consider bill to ease coverage mandate laws

A Georgia lawmaker said he may sponsor legislation to allow companies to give workers choices about which mandated health insurance coverages they want. State Rep. John Lunsford, a Republican, said his bill would allow employers to save money by offering health plans that don't include coverage of all currently required health screenings, including colorectal screening.
