Groundswell of support is seen for Pepsi Throwback

Since PepsiCo introduced Pepsi Throwback, made with sugar, it has gained some 20,000 Facebook fans and is mentioned on Twitter about once per hour. The beverage was released for three-month increments in December and July, and will be brought back in 2011, said Pepsi marketing director Amy Wirtanen, who said most of the marketing support has been consumer-generated.
