JetBlue, Southwest tout baggage policies in ads

Southwest Airlines and JetBlue Airways are zeroing in on baggage and other ancillary fees in their advertising, seeking to distinguish themselves from the competition. Some marketing experts say the ads are unusually direct for the airline industry. But there is no sign the airlines will back off: Southwest says a new series of ads, debuting within the next few months, will target change fees.
