Report: Obama administration slows in patient privacy efforts

An Electronic Privacy Information Center report says that although the Obama administration has pressed for more enhanced patient control of health data this year, it has slowed in the implementation of privacy goals outlined in the stimulus law. "With millions of patient records moving online, we think the White House needs to show more effort," the report said.
