NBPTS is among applicants for i3 grants

Nearly 600 applicants, including the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, are vying for a share of $150 million in federal Investing in Innovation grants, which fund projects that employ strategies designed to boost student achievement. NBPTS has requested $25 million from the i3 program to increase the number of National Board Certified Teachers and establish teacher-focused professional learning communities at schools.
