Trans Tech's all-electric bus uses propane, CNG for auxiliary power

Trans Tech recently unveiled its all-electric Newton eTrans school bus, which is powered by two 278-volt lithium-ion batteries. The vehicle's auxiliary unit is powered by propane or compressed natural gas. The bus will be shipped early next year, though its cost is still undisclosed.
