While Iran is capable of completing the kind of cyberattacks that have plagued banks in recent weeks, "so is just about any other developed country," says Gil Shwed, co-founder and CEO of Check Point Software Technologies. Shwed, considered a cybersecurity pioneer, says financial institutions must keep security updated and notes that the hackers "can infect tens of thousands or even millions of computers."
