ARRC's Aadnesen to leave indelible mark in rail industry

Alaska Railroad CEO Christopher Aadnesen will retire at the end of this month, and his departure signals a "bittersweet" ending, writes Jeff Stagl. Aadnesen's 40-year-plus career includes work with Class I railroads such as Kansas City Southern and Union Pacific. Becoming a rail consultant will provide an opportunity to remain in touch with the industry, despite "retiring from running railroads," Aadnesen said.
