Bombardier gathers data, does the math for Max maintenance program

Data are the key to Bombardier's new Max maintenance program, which is being added at no cost to current owners of the Challenger 300/600 series business jets. "It's a complicated process of gathering data and proving that the parts will hold up over time. It takes a lot of accurate data to substantiate that failure rates are low enough that we can extend intervals of maintenance. There is math behind it," Andy Nureddin, vice president of Bombardier Customer Services and Support, said.
