Cisco strengthens networking products against DoS attacks

Cisco Systems took steps to increase the resiliency of its enterprise networking and communications products to fend off denial-of-service attacks with new versions of its Cisco IOS XR Software as well as security updates to its Identity Services Engine. Among the upgrades, the new solutions patch vulnerabilities in the Apache Struts development framework used by a number of Cisco products.
