N.Y. districts launch collaborative to share resources

Seven school districts in New York are working on an initiative to cut costs, collaborate and share resources through the Washington County School District Collaborative. Among other things, the districts could share leaders for special education and curriculum development, while some districts already are sharing a chief information officer and expanding distance-learning opportunities.
