University Of California Study Finds SAT II Better Predictor Of College Success

The SAT II is a better predictor of first-year college grades than the SAT I, according to a new report by the University of California. The study results might strengthen the UC system's push to drop the SAT I as an entrance requirement. The study of 78,000 freshmen also found that SAT II scores are less influenced by students' socio-economic backgrounds.
