Cheese costs slice into pizza profits

Pizza chains have been coping with higher cheese costs that are forcing pizza prices higher and cutting into profit margins. Domino's Pizza is seeking cost stability with a new multiyear purchasing agreement with its primary cheese supplier, and Papa John's International has established a corporation that insulates cheese prices from core profits by selling cheese to franchises at a fixed quarterly price.
