AAP: Violence in media a threat to children

An AAP council said violence and sex in music, movies, TV and video games is a serious threat to children and urged pediatricians and parents to take action. The two statements, published in Pediatrics, urges doctors to ask children how much TV they watch, whether they have a TV in the bedroom and to encourage parents to take an interest in the music their children listen to.
