Cookies named for Communists help Kraft grow in Russia

Kraft Foods is beating the recession in Russia, with baked goods tailored to local tastes and cookies named for Communist heroes. Sales reached more than $815 million last year, and Kraft controls 20% of the cookie market after the acquisition two years ago of Groupe Danone's cookie and cracker unit, which included Bolshevik, Russia's biggest cookie baker.
