Indiana officials consider overhaul of teacher training, licensing

Indiana officials are considering an overhaul of the way teachers are trained in the state and are seeking public comment on the plan that has been presented. Under the proposal, it would be easier to be promoted to principal or superintendent, university teacher-training programs would be limited, and teachers would have to take additional tests.
