Majority of Australian high-schoolers are taught by unqualified teachers

A recent survey finds that about 60% of high school students in Australia are being taught by unqualified teachers. The data shows that the problem is especially severe among maths teachers, who are among the most likely to be considered unqualified. Other affected subjects include technology, languages, science and special education.
