Delta still plans to buy 787, but not before 2020

Delta Air Lines says it has reached an agreement with Boeing to "reaffirm our previous orders" for 18 787 Dreamliners, though initial deliveries have been deferred until 2020 at the earliest. Delta inherited the 787 order in its merger with Northwest Airlines, which had planned to take delivery between 2008 and 2010. With the plane running years behind schedule, there was some speculation that Delta would cancel the order outright.
