Do you reward employees for being overworked?

While employers appear sympathetic to overworked and stressed workers, at the same time they often reward or recognize those who "go the extra mile," writes Karla Brandau, CEO of Workplace Power Institute. Instead, employers should send a clear message that to be the most productive, employees should make sure they take enough breaks, use flextime if possible and use practices that help them work more efficiently, she writes.
