Gene therapy holds promise for pulmonary hypertension, study shows

Researchers at the Heart and Stroke Foundation were able to reverse pulmonary hypertension in patients by using gene therapy. The gene treatment works by inhibiting PIM-1, a protein that plays a role in the development of the disease.
