$5 million invested in connected-TV gaming startup

PlayJam, a startup developing casual games for Internet-connected television sets, has raised $5 million in private-equity funding from Adobe Ventures, GameStop Digital Ventures and other investors. The company is offering games directly to consumers through application stores run by LG Electronics, Panasonic, Samsung Electronics and Sony.
