Moynihan aims to improve BofA's battered public image

Public criticism of Bank of America has "incensed" CEO Brian Moynihan, who is responding by reminding community leaders of the bank's economic contributions. Mr. Moynihan said that the local level is the "place to win the battle" over BofA's public image. "I, like you, get a little incensed when you think about how much good all of you do, whether it's volunteer hours, charitable giving we do, serving clients and customers well," Mr. Moynihan told employees at a recent meeting. "[BofA's critics] ought to think a little about that before you start yelling at us."
