Pick a professional font for your resume

Don't get too fancy with the font you choose for your resume, Jessica Holbrook Hernandez writes. Stick with fonts in the Seriff and Sans Seriff families, and avoid fonts such as Palatino Linotype that look different on a PC versus a Mac. Also, make the size 10 to 12 point for regular type and 12 to 14 point for subheadings, Hernandez advises.
