U.S. leads in apps, lags in mobile Web use

The U.S. remains the global leader in the use of mobile applications but lags China and other Asia-Pacific nations in using the mobile Web and other advanced activities, according to a Forrester Research report. While 50% of those living in Japan and parts of China use the mobile Internet at least monthly, only 28% to 36% do so in the U.S., Australia, Sweden, the U.K. and the Netherlands.
