More midcareer bankers decide Wall Street isn't worth it

Faced with more stress on the job as well as smaller salaries and bonuses, midcareer bankers are increasingly deciding it is time to get away from Wall Street. Some just quit without any plan for how they will earn a living next. There's nothing new about Wall Street burnout, but recruiters say it is unusual for 30-somethings, who typically have spent nearly a decade in finance to just leave without something else lined up.
