WebOS-based HDTV on the horizon from LG, report says

LG Electronics is reportedly licensing the webOS operating system from Gram, the Hewlett-Packard spinoff, to use in a new high-definition television model, the WebOS Nation blog reports. The Korean giant chose webOS over Google TV because webOS is open-source software that LG can modify, the blog said. LG hasn't commented yet on the report.
