Homework site offers no-frills help to students, teachers

Canadian college student Adil Lalani has reportedly sold his SurfYourWork.com homework management company to educational software provider Jasmine Technologies for $1.25 million in cash and stock. While in 11th grade, Lalani created the site to give teachers a simpler, more intuitive means of posting and collecting assignments.
