Interim coordinator optimistic about HIT legislation

Dr. Robert Kolodner, the interim national coordinator for health care information technology, says he is optimistic that Congress will work out differences in the versions of a health IT bill and also believes the momentum behind the HIT push will continue. "We are making good progress. The advances we have made in the past year are laying a good foundation," he said.
