Schwarzenegger campaign targets voters by purchase trail

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's gubernatorial campaign is using "microtargeting," the practice of predicting levels of support based on data about consumer spending habits, to line up votes for next month's election. "It's not where they live, it's how they live," said Josh Ginsberg, the Schwarzenegger reelection campaign's deputy political director.
