Wal-Mart announces aggressive holiday campaign

Wal-Mart plans to be the lowest-priced retailer in gift categories such as electronics and jewelry, while strongly pushing key electronics, such as flat-panel TVs, MP3 players, game consoles and laptops. The releases of Nintendo's Wii, Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's Zune player are expected to boost sales.
