Award recognizing creativity, imagination goes to history teacher

American history teacher David Mitchell recently was presented with the 2008 Preserve America History Teacher of the Year award by First Lady Laura Bush, who mentioned Mitchell's enthusiasm when presenting him with the award. Mitchell has been teaching American history at Masconomet Regional High School in Topsfield, Mass., since 1995.
