Cessna teams with Greensburg, Kan., to help green efforts

After being devastated by a tornado in 2007, the city of Greensburg, Kan., began to rebuild as one of the nation's first green cities. Cessna Aircraft says it will partner with the city and help set programs in motion. Cessna CEO Jack Pelton signed a memo of understanding with Greensburg Mayor Bob Dixson indicating that Cessna will work with the city to develop and begin energy-management programs and the adoption of sustainable resources, among other things.
