Judge blocks crucial e-mail in Bear Stearns trial

The judge in the trial of former Bear Stearns money managers Ralph Cioffi and Matthew Tannin has refused to allow a crucial e-mail into evidence. The e-mail, sent by Tannin in November 2006, months before the company went bankrupt, said: "We could blow up." The judge ruled that the evidence was collected in a way that did not comply with the Fourth Amendment.
