Report: Australia should ban coastal development:

Australia's coastal communities may be at risk from rising seas, according to a government report. The report recommends that future development in coastal areas be banned. Around 80% of Australians live on the coast, which could be under water as sea levels rise by an expected amount of 31 inches. All six of Australia's major cities are on the coast, and the report estimates $137 billion in property is at risk.
