Sources: Iran to propose counter-offer on nuclear deal

Iran will propose a counter-offer to a deal reached among Iran and the U.S., UN, Russia and France that would have the International Atomic Energy Agency oversee the development of Iran's low-enriched uranium into fuel rods for a peaceful reactor. Citing unnamed sources, Iranian state media reported the counter would feature "important adjustments." Some diplomats feel the back-and-forth could lead to wider talks, though critics point to past instances in which Iran has lingered on counter-proposals.
