TSA says 11-inch MacBook Air may stay in travelers' bags

The Transportation Security Administration will allow passengers traveling with an 11-inch MacBook Air to leave the device in their bag as they pass through security checkpoints. The TSA typically requires travelers to remove laptops and larger electronics from luggage before passing through X-ray machines. E-readers, such as the Kindle and the Nook, can stay in baggage, too.
