Vet cautions pet owners in Alabama county about canine flu

The president of the East Alabama Veterinary Medical Association is advising pet owners in Lee County, Ala., to be on the lookout for symptoms of H3N8, also called canine flu. Cases of the flu could be circulating in the county and research is under way to confirm this, he said.
