2012 fitness trends focus on weight loss, exercise

The American College of Sports Medicine's top fitness trends for 2012 include strength training, fitness programs for older adults, personal training and core training. The survey of 2,600 fitness professionals also included exercise and weight loss, and children and obesity in the top 10 trends; the Latin-dance-inspired Zumba and other dance workouts came in at No. 9.
