ACI is revising design standards guide for user-friendliness

The American Concrete Institute is working to make its 502-page concrete design standard guide easier to use with the addition of special chapters dedicated to earthquake-resistant structures, material quality control and assurance and construction requirements. The book will be organized by component rather than behavior. ACI will publish the updated standards in 2014 instead of 2013 in order to make sure that its provisions are valid.
