Boeing, Embraer sign deal for biofuel made from sugarcane

Aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Embraer have teamed up for a biofuel venture that will study the use of sugarcane and other renewable sources. Brazil has more than 30 years of experience in transforming sugarcane into biofuels. "We chose Brazil because of its strengths in biomass and this type of fuel stock," said Boeing International President Shep Hill.
